Human Serine/threonine-protein kinase Sgk2 (SGK2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this ELISA kit is designed for the measurement of Serine/threonine-protein kinase Sgk2 (SGK2) in human samples. The kit is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human SGK2.

Reported assay performance includes a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.324 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.7%, and an inter-assay CV of 11.4%. Linearity for serum (N=5) at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16 spans 106–116%, 106–106%, 100–109%, and 93–102%; for EDTA plasma (N=5) 100–108%, 96–107%, 90–103%, and 104–114%; for heparin plasma (N=5) 95–105%, 82–95%, 98–109%, and 83–92%. Mean recovery is 88% (range 82–94) for serum and 90% (range 84–96) for plasma.

SGK2 is a serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in regulating ion channels, membrane transporters, cell growth, survival, and proliferation, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, diabetes, and neurological disorders. The protein is located in the cytoplasm and nucleus (UniProt Q9HBY8). The kit is intended for research use only and is shipped at +4°C with storage at –20°C.
