ACVRL1, also referred to as Activin receptor-like kinase 1, ALK-1, TGF-B superfamily receptor type I, TSR-I, SKR3, or ACVRLK1 (UniProt P37023), is a type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor. It functions as a receptor for TGF-beta family ligands BMP9/GDF2 and BMP10 and serves as an important regulator of normal blood vessel development. On ligand binding, ACVRL1 forms a receptor complex with two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases, leading to activation of SMAD transcriptional regulators.

The kit provides a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39 pg/mL, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human ACVRL1. It is intended for cell biology research applications, with storage at -20°C and shipping at +4°C. For research use only.
