Human Serine/threonine-protein kinase PLK1 (PLK1) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. It uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 7.8-500 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 3.4 pg/mL, with reported Intra CV of 5.3% and Inter CV of 8.9%, and specificity for natural and recombinant human PLK1.

PLK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that performs key functions throughout M phase of the cell cycle, including centrosome maturation, spindle assembly, removal of cohesins from chromosome arms, inactivation of APC/C inhibitors, and regulation of mitotic exit and cytokinesis. Its dysregulation has been implicated in various cancers, making it an important target for oncology research. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) was reported in serum (110-118%, 107-118%, 111-111%, 119-119%), EDTA plasma (106-116%, 94-106%, 86-95%, 97-106%), and heparin plasma (106-118%, 91-101%, 105-114%, 98-109%).
