Human Serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 7 (SPINK7) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 7 (SPINK7) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit is specific to natural and recombinant human SPINK7 and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 31pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and an inter-assay CV of 11.2%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with values ranging from 84% to 120%. Recovery averaged 103% (97-109%) in serum and 105% (99-111%) in plasma.

SPINK7 is a probable serine protease inhibitor, also referred to as Esophagus cancer-related gene 2 protein (ECRG-2), with the UniProt accession P58062. The protein is secreted and has a predicted molecular weight of 10 kDa, with relevance to cancer research.
