Human Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 3 (SRSF3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 3 (SRSF3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human SRSF3, which is also known by the synonyms Pre-mRNA-splicing factor SRP20, Splicing factor arginine/serine-rich 3, SFRS3, and SRp20.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.045 ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.7% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Recovery averages 100% (94–106%) for serum and 102% (96–108%) for plasma. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

SRSF3 is a splicing factor that specifically promotes exon-inclusion during alternative splicing and also acts as an export adapter involved in mRNA nuclear export. The protein is localised to the nucleus, nuclear speckles, and cytoplasm, and falls within the Epigenetics research area. The kit is for research use only.
