Human Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 2 (SRSF2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of human Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 2 (SRSF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for research use only.

The detection method is sandwich-based, with one source describing it as colorimetric, and the quoted detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL. Reported sensitivity is 0.1 ng/mL in one version of the product and 0.054 ng/mL in another. Intra-assay precision is stated as 5.1% CV in one product sheet and CV <10% in another, while inter-assay precision is given as 10.2% CV or CV <12% respectively. Shelf life is stated as 12 months for one of the kits.

SRSF2 is a key protein involved in RNA splicing that regulates gene expression and cellular functions, and dysregulation of SRSF2 has been linked to cancers and genetic disorders. The kit recognises natural and recombinant SRSF2 and lists alternative names including Protein PR264, Splicing component 35 kDa, Splicing factor SC35, Splicing factor arginine/serine-rich 2, SC-35, SFRS2, SFRS2A and SRp30b.
