Human SERINC1 ELISA Kit (HUFI06602)

Beyond standard quantification, the Assay Genie Human SERINC1 ELISA Kit supports research into HIV-1 restriction mechanisms, since the SERINC1 protein is incorporated into viral particles and inhibits retroviral infectivity when not counteracted by Nef or other viral antagonists. The kit is also used in studies of sphingolipid and phosphatidylserine biosynthesis, membrane protein trafficking, and neurological research where SERINC family members have been implicated in synaptic function.

This microplate assay includes a pre-coated strip plate, detection antibody, standards, and substrate solution. All components should be stored refrigerated between uses and protected from light; aliquot the conjugate and standards to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. The assay is for research use only and has not been validated for diagnostic procedures.
