Human SERGEF (Secretion-regulating guanine nucleotide exchange factor) ELISA KIT (HUFI04899)

The Assay Genie immunoassay provides quantitative measurement of human SERGEF, a Golgi-localised guanine nucleotide exchange factor that regulates Rab-mediated vesicular trafficking and protein secretion. SERGEF (also known as DELGEF or GNEFR) has been implicated in neurodegenerative disease research, including dentatorubral-pallidoluysian atrophy (DRPLA), polyglutamine-expansion pathology, and secretory pathway dysfunction in neural and hepatic tissues. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against mouse or rat SERGEF orthologues.

This research-use-only kit is supplied as a microplate with pre-coated wells, lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate solution. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted immediately to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the unopened kit should be stored refrigerated and protected from light until first use. Intended applications include in vitro studies of Golgi trafficking, biomarker profiling of neurological and metabolic cohorts, and academic investigations of regulated exocytosis.
