SEPTIN7 (septin-7) is a conserved ~50 kDa GTP-binding protein of the septin family that assembles into filaments and higher-order structures at the cell cortex, where it scaffolds cytokinesis, vesicle trafficking, and actin-membrane interactions. This Assay Genie kit provides a microplate-based immunoassay for quantifying human septin-7, useful for studies on cytoskeletal remodeling, neuronal development, and oncogenic signaling where altered SEPT7 expression has been implicated in gliomas and breast tumors.
