Human Septin 6 (SEPT6) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Septin 6 immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of human SEPT6, a GTP-binding protein of the septin family that forms heteromeric filaments with SEPT2 and SEPT7 to regulate cytokinesis, cytoskeletal dynamics, and intracellular trafficking. The kit is supplied as a 96 assay format on a microplate and is validated for use with tissue homogenates. Researchers commonly apply this reagent in cell biology and oncology research, including studies of neuronal development—SEPT6 is highly expressed in brain tissue—and investigations into SEPT6 dysregulation in certain leukemias. Reconstituted components should be stored refrigerated at 4°C and protected from light to preserve activity; the procedure involves a 37°C incubation step and uses a 100 uL sample volume per well.
