Human Septin 5 (SEPT5) ELISA Kit

The Septin 5 protein (SEPT5), also known as CDCrel-1, is a 42 kDa GTP-binding protein belonging to the septin family that participates in synaptic vesicle docking, exocytosis, and platelet dense granule secretion. Altered SEPT5 expression has been associated with neurodegenerative conditions, schizophrenia susceptibility, and hematological malignancies, particularly those linked to the 22q11.2 chromosomal microdeletion region.

This Assay Genie kit provides quantitative measurement of endogenous human SEPT5 in tissue homogenates and cell lysate preparations, supporting research in neuroscience, synaptic transmission, cytoskeletal GTPase signaling, and tumor biomarker discovery. The microplate format includes all reagents required for 96 determinations; the assay is intended for research use only.
