Human Septin 12 (SEPT12) ELISA Kit

Septin 12 (SEPT12) is a GTP-binding cytoskeletal protein most abundantly expressed in post-meiotic male germ cells, where it assembles into filamentous structures essential for proper sperm annulus architecture and tail formation. Mutations in the SEPT12 gene have been linked to teratozoospermia, oligospermia, and other male infertility phenotypes, making quantitative measurement of SEPT12 protein in reproductive tissues a useful biomarker in andrology research.
