The Soluble Endothelial Protein C Receptor (sEPCR/PROCR) is a circulating fragment shed from the endothelial cell surface, where the membrane-bound form contributes to the protein C anticoagulant pathway, modulation of inflammation, and maintenance of vascular homeostasis. Measuring soluble PROCR levels in circulation is informative for studies of coagulopathy, sepsis, systemic vasculitis, pre-eclampsia, deep vein thrombosis, and several autoimmune conditions.

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a 96-well microplate, supporting medium-throughput screening of clinical and research cohorts. A recombinant standard curve is provided to allow accurate quantitation across the working range, with typical sample volumes of 10-50 µl per well recommended by the protocol.

Storage and handling: store all unopened reagents at 2-8 °C; the microplate, standards, and detection antibody should be kept refrigerated and protected from light. Allow every component to equilibrate to room temperature before use, and limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standards and streptavidin-HRP conjugate by aliquoting on first thaw. The kit is intended for in vitro research use only and is supplied with a detailed insert covering plate setup, wash procedure, incubation times, and data analysis guidance.
