Human SEMG2/Semenogelin-2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA in double-antibody format from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human Semenogelin-2 (SEMG2), also known as Semenogelin II or SGII (UniProt Q02383). The colorimetric assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 0.188 µg/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 µg/mL.

The protocol begins by equilibrating reagents and loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate for a 90-minute incubation at 37 °C. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is then added for 60 minutes at 37 °C, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes, the reaction is stopped, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months.
