Human Semaphorin 7A/SEMA7A ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Semaphorin 7A (SEMA7A), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric double-antibody detection format. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and supports research into SEMA7A's roles in cell migration, immune responses, and nervous system development, as well as its dysregulation in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurological conditions.

Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (94-102%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (86-105%, average 97%), and heparin plasma (90-102%, average 98%), with linearity confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in the same matrices. When stored at 2-8°C, the kit remains stable for 12 months.

The protocol begins with equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by loading standards, samples, and a zero control onto the pre-coated plate for a 90-minute incubation at 37°C. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is then applied for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. After the addition of TMB substrate and a 10–20 minute colour development in the dark, the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read immediately at 450 nm.
