Human Semaphorin 4D PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1066)

Quantify soluble human Semaphorin 4D (also called CD100) with this research-grade ELISA from Assay Genie's PharmaGenie reagent line. Semaphorin 4D is a transmembrane ligand that can also be shed from the cell surface; once released it engages Plexin-B1 and CD72 on neighboring leukocytes, modulating B-cell proliferation, T-cell activation, cytoskeletal remodeling, and other immune-cell signaling events. Because SEMA4D expression is dysregulated in several cancers — including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, prostate cancer, and multiple myeloma — circulating and shed forms of the protein are of active interest as candidate biomarkers and as readouts in immune checkpoint studies.

The reagents are supplied in quantities sufficient for 96 assays and use a microplate. Working standards and unknowns are added to pre-coated wells, bound analyte is revealed through the kit's detection antibody and substrate system, and concentration is interpolated against the calibrator curve. Bringing all components to room temperature prior to use is the standard starting step; the kit is intended for research use only and is not cleared for clinical diagnostic use.
