Human Semaphorin-3E (SEMA3E) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Semaphorin-3E (SEMA3E) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay for the quantitative detection of SEMA3E in human samples. Intended for research use only, the assay detects natural and recombinant human Semaphorin-3E, also referenced by the synonyms KIAA0331 and SEMAH.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, the kit has a reported detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.326 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.0% and inter-assay CV is 10.6%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with mean recovery of 107% in serum and 109% in plasma.

SEMA3E (UniProt O15041) is a secreted member of the semaphorin family that signals through the cell-surface receptor PLXND1. It is involved in axon guidance, neuronal development, vascular patterning and the regulation of angiogenesis, and its dysregulation has been linked to various neurological disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in neurobiology and vascular research.
