Human Semaphorin-3B (SEMA3B) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantification of human Semaphorin-3B (SEMA3B) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects natural and recombinant human Semaphorin-3B and is intended for research use only, with intra-assay CV of 5.1% and inter-assay CV of 9.2%.

Semaphorin-3B is a secreted protein involved in cell signalling and tissue development, regulating cell migration, axon guidance and immune responses. Dysregulation of SEMA3B has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders and neurological conditions, making it a useful biomarker for studying these diseases and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. The protein inhibits axonal extension by providing local signals to specify territories inaccessible for growing axons.

Quantitative performance is characterised by a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, with reported recovery and linearity data across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution.
