Researchers studying axon guidance signaling, angiogenesis inhibition, and tumor suppressor biology can use this Assay Genie ELISA kit to quantify Semaphorin 3B (SEMA3B) protein in human research samples. Semaphorin 3B is a secreted member of the class 3 semaphorin family, mapped to chromosome 3p21.3, that signals through plexin and neuropilin receptors to influence neuronal development and has been characterized as a candidate tumor suppressor in lung carcinoma.
Validated for use with tissue homogenates and cell lysates derived from human specimens, the kit is intended for in vitro research use only. It supports studies comparing SEMA3B expression across healthy and diseased tissues, including investigations of cancer cell migration, vascular patterning, and neural circuit formation.
The kit includes a pre-coated microplate along with detection antibodies, recombinant protein standards, substrate solution, and wash buffer sufficient to complete the run. Reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be refrigerated to preserve activity, and the workflow is compatible with standard microplate readers. Each kit contains reagents for 96 assays, providing sufficient throughput for screening multiple experimental conditions or replicates.
