Human Semaphorin-3A (SEMA3A) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Semaphorin-3A (SEMA3A). The assay detects natural and recombinant human Semaphorin-3A and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.058 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.9% and inter-assay CV is 7.3%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery averaged 98% in serum and 100% in plasma. SEMA3A is a secreted protein implicated in axon guidance, olfactory system development, neuronal control of puberty and immune response regulation, with dysregulation linked to neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis.
