Human SEMA3G/Semaphorin-3G ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of human Semaphorin-3G (SEMA3G) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The assay is read by measuring absorbance at 450 nm following TMB-based colorimetric development.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with reported recovery ranges of 94-96% (average 95%) for serum, 86-103% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-103% (average 97%) for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

SEMA3G (synonyms: sem2, Semaphorin sem2; UniProt Q9NS98) is a secreted semaphorin family member implicated in cell migration and axon guidance, with downstream relevance to neuronal development and immune response modulation.
