Human Selenoprotein P (SEPP1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Selenoprotein P (SEPP1), a secreted glycoprotein implicated in extracellular antioxidant defense and selenium transport to tissues such as brain and testis. It is intended for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human Selenoprotein P.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.089ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 92-98% at 1:2, 90-97% at 1:4, 96-100% at 1:8 and 91-97% at 1:16; EDTA plasma (N=5) ranges 89-101% and heparin plasma (N=5) 91-102% across the same dilutions. Recovery averages 94% (range 91-98%) for serum and 96% (range 93-100%) for plasma.
