Human Selectin, Platelet (SELP) ELISA Kit

Quantify soluble P-selectin in human samples with this colorimetric enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Assay Genie. P-selectin, also known as CD62P, is a cell adhesion molecule stored in platelet alpha granules and endothelial Weibel-Palade bodies that translocates to the plasma membrane upon cellular activation and is also shed into circulation as a soluble form.

This assay supports research into inflammation, atherosclerosis, thrombosis, sickle cell disease, and tumor metastasis, where circulating P-selectin concentrations serve as a biomarker of endothelial and platelet activation. The kit is validated across multiple sample matrices including patient-derived serum, EDTA-treated plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, supporting translational workflows from clinical sample analysis to in vitro cell-based experiments.
