Human Securin-2 ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantification of securin levels in human samples. The assay targets securin, a key regulatory protein involved in the control of cell division and chromosome segregation, and which plays a critical role in maintaining genomic stability. Dysregulation of securin has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and identifying potential therapeutic targets.

The kit is configured for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and employs a colorimetric detection method with a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) read-out on TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 3.75 pg/mL, a detection range of 6.25–400 pg/mL, and linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of 86–104% / 84–97% / 81–99% for serum, 85–105% / 85–96% / 80–95% for EDTA plasma, and 85–104% / 83–100% / 83–96% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery averages are 94% for serum (range 85–100%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 89–104%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 85–102%).
