Human Secretory carrier-associated membrane protein 1 (SCAMP1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Secretory carrier-associated membrane protein 1 (SCAMP1), also referred to as Secretory carrier membrane protein 1 or SCAMP. The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. SCAMP1 is a multi-pass membrane protein localised to the Golgi apparatus, trans-Golgi network membrane and recycling endosome membrane, and it functions in post-Golgi recycling pathways, acting as a recycling carrier to the cell surface. The protein is referenced under UniProt O15126 (NCBI Gene ID 9522).

Detection is colorimetric, with a reported detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 36 pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 106-116%, 97-109%, 94-105% and 80-90% for serum (N=5); 100-110%, 97-105%, 90-100% and 104-114% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 106-116%, 105-115%, 106-115% and 109-119% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averaged 91% (range 85-97%) in serum and 93% (range 87-99%) in plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human SCAMP1 and is intended for research use only.
