Human Secretogranin-3 (SCG3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Secretogranin-3 (SCG3). The kit is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is supplied for research use only.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, with intra-assay precision of 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision of 9.2% CV. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery averages 100% in serum and 102% in plasma. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human Secretogranin-3 (UniProt Q8WXD2), a 26,909 Da member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family involved in the biogenesis of neuroendocrine and endocrine secretory granules. The protein, encoded on chromosome 15q21, interacts with CHGA and is associated with cytoplasmic and secretory vesicles.
