Human SEC63 ELISA Kit (HUFI06616)

The SEC63 protein is a component of the endoplasmic reticulum translocation machinery and participates in post-translational protein import across the ER membrane. Mutations in SEC63 are linked to autosomal dominant polycystic liver disease, and altered expression has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma and other solid tumours, making quantitative measurement of circulating SEC63 relevant in translational biomarker studies.

Quantitative measurement is performed on human samples with a sample volume of 100 uL per well required for the standard protocol. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated well plate, lyophilised recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and TMB substrate. Unopened components should be stored at 4 degrees C; reconstituted standards and diluted samples should be aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
