Human Sec23b ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for quantitative detection of SEC23B in human samples. SEC23B is a key protein involved in intracellular protein transport, and its dysregulation has been associated with congenital dyserythropoietic anemia type II and cranio-lenticulo-sutural dysplasia, supporting its relevance as a biomarker in cell biology research.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Recovery ranges are reported as 85-104% (average 95%) for serum, 87-104% (average 99%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-98% (average 93%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

The workflow includes equilibration of reagents, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
