Human SCN2B ELISA Kit (HUFI08498)

The Assay Genie SCN2B ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of the sodium channel beta-2 subunit, a type I transmembrane auxiliary protein that modulates voltage-gated sodium channel gating kinetics and cell-surface expression in excitable tissue. SCN2B is widely investigated in neuroscience and cardiac electrophysiology research, including work on inherited epilepsy syndromes, developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, Brugada-spectrum arrhythmia mechanisms, and atrial fibrillation pathogenesis. Researchers apply the kit to in vitro profiling of SCN2B levels in clinical specimens obtained from study participants.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized recombinant standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, substrate, stop solution, and wash buffer sufficient for 96 determinations. Each well receives 100 µL of prepared sample, and the assay is calibrated against recombinant human SCN2B with no significant cross-reactivity to the related SCN1B or SCN4B subunits. Refrigerate unopened reagents upon arrival and protect the TMB substrate from light; aliquot the reconstituted standard stock into single-use vials to limit freeze-thaw exposure and preserve calibration integrity.
