Human Sclerostin domain-containing protein 1 (SOSTDC1) ELISA Kit

SOSTDC1 is a secreted bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) antagonist that regulates bone formation and modulates Wnt and TGF-beta signalling. Recognised synonyms include Ectodermal BMP inhibitor, USAG-1, Ectodin and CDA019. Dysregulation of SOSTDC1 has been linked to bone-related disorders such as osteoporosis and skeletal defects, making it a useful biomarker for studies in bone biology, musculoskeletal research and signal transduction.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.062 ng/mL. The assay detects natural and recombinant human SOSTDC1 and is configured for signal transduction applications.
