Human SCF PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1059)

The Human SCF (Stem Cell Factor) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a microplate-based immunoassay that captures soluble human SCF between matched antibody pairs, providing reagents for one 96-well plate. It is calibrated against recombinant human Stem Cell Factor and validated for serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant samples.

Stem Cell Factor (also called KITLG or c-Kit ligand) is the physiologic ligand for the c-Kit receptor tyrosine kinase. It supports hematopoietic stem cell survival, mast cell proliferation, melanocyte maintenance, and germ cell development, and is implicated in mastocytosis, certain anemias, and infertility research. The kit is used to measure SCF secretion from stromal fibroblasts, endothelial cells, bone marrow mesenchymal cultures, and tumor-derived cell lines.

Assay performance: detection range 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL, sensitivity approximately 15 pg/mL, and 100 uL sample volume per well. The standard curve is generated from a seven-point serial dilution. Detection uses a biotinylated secondary antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and TMB substrate; the reaction is stopped with the provided acid solution and absorbance is recorded. The capture and detection antibodies are specific to human SCF.

Store unopened components refrigerated at 4 degrees C. Allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before use; reconstituted standards and samples should be aliquoted to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
