Human SBSN  (Suprabasin) ELISA Kit (HUFI04838)

Configured for in vitro quantitative determination of SBSN (Suprabasin) protein, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody workflow.

Suprabasin is a secreted glycoprotein originally identified in the suprabasal layers of stratified epithelia, where it contributes to keratinocyte differentiation programs and epithelial barrier integrity. Altered SBSN expression has been described in oral squamous cell carcinoma and breast carcinoma, with associations to tumor cell proliferation, migration, and microenvironment remodeling. These findings make the protein a candidate biomarker in oncology research, dermatology, and studies of epithelial cell biology. The antibody pair specifically recognizes SBSN and shows no obvious cross-reactivity with other analogues.

The kit ships in a 48T/96T microplate configuration and includes lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, and wash and dilution buffers. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months; the sealed kit should not be frozen.
