Human SAP25 (Synaptosome Associated Protein 25) ELISA Kit (HUES02945)

Built around the 25 kDa Sin3A-binding polypeptide encoded at chromosome 7q22.1 (UniProt Q8TEE9, OMIM 619230), this Assay Genie kit targets a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein that docks onto the PAH1 domain of mSin3A through a conserved C-terminal LxxLL motif (Shiio et al., 2006). A fraction of endogenous SAP25 localizes to PML nuclear bodies, and the protein is actively exported from the nucleus by a CRM1-dependent pathway, making it a mechanistically informative read-out of SIN3A-HDAC repressor biology. Each microplate supports 96 determinations using a 50 µL sample load per well, with biotin-streptavidin-HRP amplification and a TMB chromogen. The capture antibody is human-specific with no significant cross-reactivity against structural homologues such as SNAP25. Unopened components should be refrigerated and the TMB reagent protected from light to preserve enzymatic activity.
