Human S100A6 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie measures human S100A6 using a colorimetric, double-antibody format with a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a standard range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Part of the S100 calcium-binding protein family, S100A6 is involved in cell cycle progression, differentiation, and migration, with reported implications in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative disease. Validated linearity values (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are 86–96% / 90–101% / 91–105% for serum, 82–99% / 83–97% / 82–96% for EDTA plasma, and 83–91% / 81–93% / 83–100% for heparin plasma. Average recoveries are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma.

The workflow covers reagent and plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC) at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution. Sample preparation notes describe clotting and centrifugation at 1000 × g for 20 minutes for serum, anticoagulant collection with centrifugation at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C for plasma, and clarification protocols for tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm for 5 minutes), and cell lysate.
