Human S100A2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of S100A2 levels in human samples, this high-quality Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. S100A2 is a key protein involved in cellular processes including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. After equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, standards, samples, and controls are incubated on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is then added for a 60-minute incubation, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10–20 minutes, the stop solution is added, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 80–105% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges are 85–104% (average 93%) for serum, 85–99% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 87–105% (average 99%) for heparin plasma.
