Human S100A13/S100 Calcium Binding Protein A13 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich-format, double-antibody ELISA developed for the quantitative measurement of human S100A13 (S100 calcium-binding protein A13). The kit is positioned for cell biology research, supporting studies in which S100A13 levels are investigated in relation to cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, and migration, and in disease contexts including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

Detection is colorimetric, with a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The kit is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples (Uniprot Q99584). Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months.

Validation data reported with the product show linearity across dilutions in serum (n=5) of 85–101% (1:2), 90–98% (1:4) and 89–99% (1:8); in EDTA plasma (n=5) of 85–101%, 83–96% and 85–99%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) of 86–105%, 83–98% and 91–98%. Spike-and-recovery ranges were 90–99% (average 94%) for serum, 87–101% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–105% (average 93%) for heparin plasma.
