Human S100A11 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of S100A11 in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format and is intended for research use in cell biology. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is reactive with human specimens only.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity falls within 80–105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n=5), and recovery ranges from 93–105% for serum (average 100%), 91–101% for EDTA plasma (average 96%) and 93–105% for heparin plasma (average 98%). Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions. S100A11 (S100 calcium-binding protein A11, UniProt P31949), also referred to as Calgizzarin, MLN70 and S100C, is implicated in cell growth, differentiation and inflammation and is studied in relation to cancer, inflammatory disorders and neurodegenerative conditions.

The assay follows a six-step workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, then set up standards, samples and blanks on the pre-coated plate; incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop colour with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm immediately.
