Human S-arrestin (SAG) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of human S-arrestin (also known as S-antigen) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit provides a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.066ng/mL, and is specific for natural and recombinant human S-arrestin.

S-arrestin is one of the major proteins of the retinal rod outer segments, where it binds to photoactivated-phosphorylated rhodopsin, thereby preventing the transducin-mediated activation of phosphodiesterase.
