Human RUNX2/CBFA1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Human RUNX2 (Cbfa1) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. RUNX2/CBFA1 is a key transcription factor that plays a central role in osteoblast differentiation and skeletal morphogenesis, making it a valuable biomarker for investigating bone-related disorders such as osteoporosis and osteosarcoma.

The double antibody Sandwich ELISA delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing yielded average recoveries of 97% for serum (range 91–105%), 98% for EDTA plasma (range 92–103%), and 93% for UFH plasma (range 89–97%). Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilution of spiked samples: serum showed 85–101%, 85–100%, and 97–105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma showed 82–99%, 82–101%, and 83–96%; UFH plasma showed 81–90%, 80–100%, and 80–99%. Intra-Assay CV is reported at <8% and Inter-Assay CV at <10%. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months and is intended For Research Use Only.
