RTEL1 encodes Regulator of Telomere Lengthing 1, an ATP-dependent DNA helicase required for proper telomere maintenance and genome stability. Loss-of-function variants in this gene are linked to dyskeratosis congenita, Hoyeraal-Hreidersson syndrome, and a subset of pulmonary fibrosis cases, making quantitative protein measurements valuable for translational research programs studying telomere biology and age-related degenerative disease. Reagents are supplied ready-to-use and should be kept under refrigerated storage; allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay.
