RTCD1, also annotated as RTCA and RPC, is a cytoplasmic and nuclear enzyme that catalyzes the ATP-dependent conversion of a 3'-phosphate terminus on RNA into a 2',3'-cyclic phosphate, supporting tRNA splicing, RNA turnover, and RNA quality control pathways.
