Human RPS6K beta 1/Ribosomal Protein S6 Kinase Beta 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit from Assay Genie designed to quantitatively measure Ribosomal Protein S6 Kinase Beta-1 (RPS6K Beta-1) in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with reactivity specific to human samples.

Storage conditions are 2-8°C for 12 months.

The six-step assay protocol involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm absorbance. Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in serum (86-100%, 82-95%, 83-99%), EDTA plasma (86-97%, 83-97%, 83-97%), and heparin plasma (89-105%, 84-101%, 80-95%). Spike recovery averaged 93% in serum, 93% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma. Kit components include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealers, and a technical manual. RPS6K Beta-1 modulates protein synthesis and is implicated in cell growth, proliferation, and survival, with dysregulation associated with cancer and metabolic disorders.
