RPS15 is a ribosomal protein constituent of the 40S small subunit that plays an essential role in ribosome biogenesis and protein translation. Assay Genie's quantitative immunoassay enables researchers studying Diamond-Blackfan anemia, where RPS15 germline mutations have been linked to erythroid aplasia, as well as oncological pathways where altered ribosomal protein expression has been documented in gastric cancer and B-cell lymphoma.
