RPLP1 (Ribosomal Protein Lateral Stalk Subunit P1) is a conserved component of the 60S ribosomal stalk that supports translational elongation and ribosome stability. Dysregulated expression of this ribosomal protein has been documented in multiple myeloma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and other malignancies, so quantitative measurement of human RPLP1 is valuable for ribosome biogenesis research and oncology studies.
