Human RPL13 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colourimetric sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of human RPL13 (Ribosomal Protein L13) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody configuration offers a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate incubation.

RPL13 is an essential ribosomal protein involved in protein synthesis and gene expression regulation. Abnormal RPL13 levels have been associated with cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions, supporting its use as a biomarker for disease research. Assay linearity has been validated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in serum (87–105%), EDTA plasma (82–101%), and heparin plasma (80–100%) (n = 5). Recovery ranges from 93–100% (serum, average 91%), 92–100% (EDTA plasma, average 96%), and 86–99% (heparin plasma, average 96%).

The protocol includes reagent and plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37 °C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm following stop solution addition. Components are stored at 2–8 °C, with the reconstituted kit stable for 12 months under these conditions.
