Human RPIA/Ribose-5-phosphate isomerase ELISA Kit

A Competitive ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the accurate and precise quantitative detection of human Ribose-5-phosphate isomerase A (RPIA) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. RPIA is an essential enzyme of the pentose phosphate pathway, contributing to nucleotide and NADPH synthesis, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions, making it a valuable biomarker in cell biology research.

The assay uses a competitive format coated with antigen, with a stated sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a detection range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, producing a colorimetric readout at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Validated linearity data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, with recovery of 85–102% (serum), 96–104% (EDTA plasma), and 88–103% (heparin plasma). The kit is supplied with all required reagents, including a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, dilution and wash buffers, stop solution, and plate sealer, and should be stored sealed at 2–8 °C without cryopreservation.
