The Assay Genie Human RPE65/Retinoid isomerohydrolase ELISA Kit provides researchers with a quantitative tool to measure RPE65 protein levels in human samples. RPE65 is a critical retinoid cycle enzyme expressed in the retinal pigment epithelium that converts all-trans-retinyl esters into 11-cis-retinol, a step required for rhodopsin regeneration and photoreceptor maintenance.
