Human ROMO1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of ROMO1 (Reactive Oxygen Species Modulator 1) in human samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 88-103% for serum, 82-96% for EDTA plasma, and 83-96% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery performance averages 97% in serum (range 86-105%), 99% in EDTA plasma (range 87-104%), and 97% in heparin plasma (range 91-102%). Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C, with stability of 12 months under these conditions. The procedure uses TMB substrate development with absorbance read at 450 nm.

ROMO1 is implicated in the regulation of oxidative stress and cellular damage, with dysregulation linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular conditions, making it a useful biomarker for research into oxidative stress-related disease mechanisms.
