Human ROCK2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human ROCK2 (Rho-associated protein kinase 2). It uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The assay is intended for use with human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types. ROCK2 is described as a key protein involved in cell migration, adhesion and proliferation, with roles in cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders and neurological conditions.

Manufacturer-quoted performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions covers 85–105% for serum, 81–104% for EDTA plasma, and 80–105% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Reported recovery ranges are 87–104% for serum, 92–105% for EDTA plasma, and 85–105% for heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 96%, 97%, and 98% respectively.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with the standard and plate strips additionally suitable for storage at -20°C for 12 months.
