Human Robo4 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Robo4 (roundabout homolog 4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Robo4 plays a role in angiogenesis regulation, including stabilisation of blood vessels and prevention of excessive vessel formation, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer, cardiovascular disease and inflammatory disorders, making it a useful cardiovascular research biomarker.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 81–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery performance is 86–101% in serum (mean 91%), 91–105% in EDTA plasma (mean 97%) and 89–105% in heparin plasma (mean 97%). Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
